Easter 2008

We started Easter by Coloring eggs on Saturday Night, It was messy and a lot of fun. ( I recommend the boxed tie die ) It was fun for the kids and had really bright colors. We had a camp out downstairs with snacks and movies trying to stay awake to catch a peek of the Easter bunny leaving all their treats. ( of course they did not make it very long ).

Sunday Morning we woke up and the kids were very excited to see all the special treats that the Easter Bunny and Mommy and Daddy had left for them. We then started our annual Easter egg hunt, which is never dull.

We met Grandma and Grandpa for Lunch and visit and had a really nice time.

It was a Wonderful Easter!

We got to get a sneak preview of what Abby is working on for her dance recital.Can I just say, She was amazing, Beautiful and perfect and I know I'm her Momma but come on. She really did get only the good parts of David and I. Abby is incredible and I am so proud of her.

Blizzard of 2008

Wow, I can't believe how much Snow we actually got. I Think Hilliard was one of just a hand full that did not get early release from school on Friday, The kids were 40 minutes late and That was nerve racking to say the least.

I sent David to do the last minute Grocery shopping and to fight the crowd That he told me was very big.( I guess their wives didn't believe the weather man either! )

David and I played outside with the kids and built a big hill off the deck to sled on, We then came in and had hot chocolate by the fire.

The kids were thrilled to find out they had Monday off as well, I was pretty happy about it to. We made a snowman that Grace named Fruit head ( hint: He is made with Lemon, Orange and Grapes ) It has been a really fun weekend, One I will never forget and I hope the kids remember forever.
