Little bit of Everything.

Grace sharing her peach with Brady
Brady was coloring with Grace ( Gene Simmons has nothing on him )

This is Squash from Abby's Garden. Not as big as last year but she was thrilled just the same.

Life has been pretty relaxed here, Not to much excitement ( very much welcomed )

Grace and Abby started their Gymnastics class twice a week and they are Loving it of Course. I was worried and fearful of any limitations Grace might have after the accident so I called her doctors and she got the green light. On the first day I spoke to the teacher just to let her know what to watch for. Grace over heard me and very calmly said SILLY MOMMY, I WILL BE FINE AND IF IT HURTS I WILL STOP. Well there you go. I guess it really is that simple. ( By the way I don't know exactly what day it happened but she is no longer limping at all and I am over the moon about it. )
We were very productive this weekend. Bagged up all their old Toys and clothes to give to Charity: 22 bags of Toys- 5 bags of kids clothes- 2 bags of adult clothes and 7 bags of baby clothes. It feels so good to be free of all of the stuff and that it went to a good cause as well. The toy room looks so good now and they can actually see what they have. Avery's first comment when we were done on Sunday. SO MOM, NOW THAT WE GAVE AWAY ALL THIS STUFF CAN WE GO TO TOYS-R-US AND BUY SOME MORE TOYS? LOL Yep That's my Boy.....

Birthday Girl.

Gracie is four years old!

We got back from Virginia around 2:30 in the afternoon. Grace and Daddy went to pick out her Ice cream cake ( her choice ) Avery, Abby and I decorated the house in lots of pink. we then took her for her choice for dinner and then opened gifts and had cake and Ice cream. At bedtime we watched a movie and ate popcorn in our bedroom. It was a Great day.

Gracie is our sunshine she always has a smile on her face and makes us all laugh everyday. I love just sitting back and watching her interact with people. Grace loved all of her gifts and at bedtime she kissed us all and said thank you for my special day. She has such a beautiful heart.

Happy Birthday My Big Girl!

Trip to Virginia.

All of the Family Planned a Wonderful Birthday Surprise for Grace. Lots of pink and Teddy bears. We are so Blessed to have them. This is the first time they have seen Gracie since the accident and they were so worried about her and prayed for her recovery. I know that it was the prayers from them, My aunt, uncle, cousins, sister, Brother in law and friends that got us through and I will be forever grateful for all of you that had Gracie and My family in your hearts.
We had such a great time in Virginia but we always do. They are really some of the most generous people you'll ever meet. Mom and Dad were with us on the trip and we enjoyed spending the weekend with them.

This is my Plea to you.

Yesterday was a rough Day for some people in my family that I care about very much, I will make this plea and then not another word about it.

To most of you, this will have no relevance and that's OK just skip this entry and look at my beautiful Babies pictures. To those that this does apply: After reading this please no longer log on to my Blog for this is only for people who care about what is happening in my life and my children's life and not so you can form a book club and discuss my every word.

I have two Grandparents that are living in Florida and I miss them very much and I worry about their health. I have spoken to them on many occasions and I wish they lived closer to us so that my kids could know them. I do hope however that when they are able to come to town that they give us a call so we can get together. My grandmother has had a tough go of it lately and no one gives us updates on how their doing so I think about them often and pray that all is well. They have always been good to me and my kids and they know That I have always been appreciative for that.

I have relatives out of state that have been content to just sit back and take in whatever toxic waste that has been spit at them. My plea to you is , there are 3 sides to every story and The story has run its course ( the book is getting old ) If you have any feelings at all for me or my kids? I would welcome a phone call from you and we will just talk about Life and nothing else! otherwise if you choose to base your opinion solely on here say or on a email that went to far then you are no better then the rest of us and I will know where you stand.

Now For YOU: There are things that even you don't know about, what made those emails so harsh! or maybe you do. does not matter either way I guess. I am not making this plea for myself, please leave the kids out of it! I know you are not very good at censoring yourself but they are just kids and they don't deserve to be getting the garbage you are emailing them. If you want to salvage anything left of that relationship then you will stop bashing their mother to them. I promise you they will hate you for it. No one wants to see these kids hurt and I would like to think that you have enough love for them to talk to them like a Grandmother and not someone with so much hate.

I have never asked you for anything and never will again so please I am asking you now to keep them out of it, They are hurting.

Life

The kids have been on summer vacation for a couple weeks now and we are finally getting into a routine. Anyone who knows me would know that I am a bit of a control freak (OCD if you will ) I need to be apart of everything, have my hands in everything to feel complete. Unorganized craziness just doesn't work with me. Having four kids, Being organized is a must not an option for us.

I spoke to my Father ( in Law ) this morning and It looks like he might be released from the hospital sometime today. We are all very happy that he is feeling better and the tests all came back negative.
When someone you care about is sick, it really makes you think about your own life and If something were to happen would you say, I wish I had done things different? I am a True believer in all things happen for a reason and they have a purpose. Sometimes things are not meant to have storybook endings and that's Okay. I live my life honestly and with Love. I do not have Hate in my heart. Even though I am a control freak, I do know that I can not control everything or everyone and I'm Okay with that because I have a pretty darn good life and I am finally at a place that I can say that I don't have any regrets. everything I have every done has made me who I am and God has brought great things in my life and I talk a lot about Karma with my kids and if you make good choices it will come back to you in good Karma Everytime.

I am packing for our trip to Mohican, we can't wait to have some needed family time. We always have such a great time there and this will be Brady's first . The kids are so excited to have Daddy home for 9 days.
David is counting down the days till we leave. No cell phones or makeup. AAHHHH can't wait...

BUSY, BUSY, BUSY

Wow , Busy, Busy week. We are getting ready for Vacation and a few appointments this week . Yesterday My Dad ( in law ) Went in for surgery to remove cancer from his Colon. It was a incredible long day and night but Thank God He came out okay and so far the Doc said it doesn't look like it has spread ( although farther testing will tell if it has spread to his lymph nodes ) We will be going back this afternoon to bring him some treats and see how he's holding up. He's a tough old bird and I know he'll be just fine. The kids were there all day and night and were just excellent and they were so happy to know he is OK. He's their Grandpa and that's a pretty important Job and they take that very seriously.

Thank God for great blessings.

Where the Sidewalk Ends by Shel Silverstein

There is a place where the sidewalk ends And before the street begins, And there the grass grows soft and white, And there the sun burns crimson bright, And there the moon-bird rests from his flight To cool in the peppermint wind. Let us leave this place where the smoke blows black And the dark street winds and bends.Past the pits where the asphalt flowers grow We shall walk with a walk that is measured and slow, And watch where the chalk-white arrows go To the place where the sidewalk ends.Yes we'll walk with a walk that is measured and slow, And we'll go where the chalk-white arrows go, For the children, they mark, and the children, they know The place where the sidewalk ends.

I love Shel Silverstein.
