Feb 20th -- My family, people I care about very much lost someone dear to them, Shannon was a very beautiful, intelligent and kind woman.
Shannon will be remembered not for how she left this world but how she lived her life and all the wonderful memories she helped create.

I was with my Aunt and Uncle when they found out the horrific news about Shannon. All I could do was think, How is this family going to get through this, They have all been through more then most.
Let me say, This is by far the strongest family that I know, so supportive of each other and when one is down, without thought someone is right there to pick them up. My cousin Bill is having a pretty tough couple of years, Lord knows he has had his share of heartache recently but I am praying that he will find his happiness and Joy again. They know that Shannon is in Heaven with her mother watching over her family, I know that must give them some peace.

Avery's tooth.2-03-2010

Avery Had his Tooth Pulled Today and There was no way that thing was coming out on it's own. Avery was so Awesome, it took them 40 min to get that sucker out ( the dentist was in full sweat )he did not even make a sound.

Last week we found out that Avery tested a Grade level ahead and we are BEYOND thrilled about this! Avery feels really proud of himself as he should. I feel that this is a huge accomplishment for him but also for me as well, I have always made their education top priority and always work with them on their weaknesses and celebrate their strengths so I feel as though this is my accomplishment too. Nothing reassures you more as a parent then Your child's Success in Life and their Motivation to always do better. I of course did my Happy Dance, He surprisingly appreciated ( This Time )and he is enjoying the rewards from all of his Hard work. I'm so so Proud of him and I know he will do good things with his Life and I can't wait to see whats next for him.

BUSY, BUSY, BUSY

My Babies all dressed up for trick or treat night.
aahh it makes my heart happy to see the Love they have for one another :)

Oops, I spoke to soon :(
We have been really busy with our social life ( kids not ours ) School, sports, Brownies, parties etc, etc, etc.
The whole Family got the H1N1 Vaccine at our Pediatricians office This month , This was something I was very torn about. The Doctor had really great answers and had really done his own research, having small kids of his own so We decided that the alternative was not an option so we had the whole family vaccinated together and all is well now and I can sleep easy knowing the decision has been made and my families health is a little more protected.
The kids are thrilled about the upcoming Holidays and all that comes with them, I'm really excited as well and look forward to decorating the house on Thanksgiving Day and baking a bunch of Christmas cookies with the kids along with all of the other traditions we have acquired over the years. This time of year is really a special time for so many reasons but it feels extra special this year and I'm enjoying every moment of it.

Birthday Boy.

I can not Believe my Baby Boy is One year old. Where has the time gone? I truly feel like It was only months ago that gave birth to him in this very house, It does seem like Time drags until you have children and then it flies by. Brady had a wonderful Birthday with people who love him more then anything in this world. He is the only one of my children that really dug in and got messy ( well, Little messy ). He loved all of it. The balloons, gifts and cake. It was a special day and being here to see his beautiful smile was truly a blessing. Happy Birthday Boogie.

I LOVE YOU!

Grace starts Preschool.

Getting ready to leave for Preschool.
Grace and Miss. Lori.

Grace started Preschool and Loved it , I knew she would because she loves being with others and playing, talking or just being apart of anything really.

David took the day off work because the first day of Preschool is a pretty special thing and we wanted her to feel that. David and I went to Lunch ( Brady slept in the stroller the whole time ) It was a really nice afternoon having adult conversation.

We picked Grace up from school and she couldn't wait to tell us about her day . It is so nice to be back at the preschool again, it has been a couple years since Abby was there. I love all of the people and I know they love our kids and it is a pretty amazing place to be apart of. My kids were very lucky to go to such a great school.

H1N1 Vaccine.

Hearing on the News that a Pregnant Woman died from the Swine Flu has me in a panic. The president thinks there will be close to 100 thousand deaths this year from it. I am scheduling our whole family for the Flu and H1N1 flu Vaccine in October. I do have an overwhelming feeling about the Vaccination and just how quickly it was produced but I don't feel as though I am left with a choice, I want to protect my family from this virus. I don't know what I would do if something happened to my kids because I didn't get them the Vaccine. I am also fearful for my Friends who are expecting and instead of feeling Joy they are worried about they're health and the Health of their babies. I pray that this will pass us by and not effect our lives in anyway.
God Bless us and keep us all in Good Health. Amen

Well, The kids are back at School and we have a routine again. They really like their teachers and are thrilled to be back at school. Grace, Brady and I have filled our days with walks, picnics, shopping, coloring and playing at the park. Grace will start preschool next week and just like I was with Avery and Abby, I am happy and excited for her because I know how much fun she will have with all her new friends but I will miss her a lot.

Brady is walking now and I really am emotional about it, He will be 1 this month and I still can't believe how fast this year has gone by.

I am looking forward to some time with just Mommy and Brady soon , I'm still not sure what I will do with just one kid at home? That is normally when we are having another one............................................

The Final Days of Summer Break.

The water was tickling his Nose.
The Kiddos

Our Super girl

Brady in the Sand Box for the first time ( Loved it ).

Grace after a trip to the pet store ( We were testing a new dose of Meds that did not work. ) back to the drawing board.

The kids and I have been trying to have as much fun as we can before they go back to school which is always sad ( for me ). The kids are so excited and are really happy about their teachers. Grace is also very excited about starting Preschool and talks about it alllllllll the time. David and I were talking last night and just can't get over the fact that we have a 4th grader! that is unbelievable to me really. I took the kids separately to shop for school clothes and have some one on one time with them and had a really great time with each of them. It amazes me so much how different they all are but have the same great qualities. They are all polite, compassionate and have incredible amounts of empathy for others and as they get older, I am even more impressed with how they present themselves. Of course I am their Mommy and I'm a little partial. Boy can they make me think I'm losing my mind most of the time but They are really good kids. One things for sure, I can't wait to have a routine in my life again. when they go to school everything we do from showers in the morning to brushing our teeth at night is scheduled. When you have 4 kids my ages It just has to be that way for all of our sanity. Summers are fun and spontaneous but after a while we are all craving some structure. I always say if it's not on the big Calender, then it's not in our life PERIOD!

David printed their new backpacks and Lunch bags and Grace even picked out her special bag for Preschool and They are now counting down the days for school.

Little bit of Everything.

Grace sharing her peach with Brady
Brady was coloring with Grace ( Gene Simmons has nothing on him )

This is Squash from Abby's Garden. Not as big as last year but she was thrilled just the same.

Life has been pretty relaxed here, Not to much excitement ( very much welcomed )

Grace and Abby started their Gymnastics class twice a week and they are Loving it of Course. I was worried and fearful of any limitations Grace might have after the accident so I called her doctors and she got the green light. On the first day I spoke to the teacher just to let her know what to watch for. Grace over heard me and very calmly said SILLY MOMMY, I WILL BE FINE AND IF IT HURTS I WILL STOP. Well there you go. I guess it really is that simple. ( By the way I don't know exactly what day it happened but she is no longer limping at all and I am over the moon about it. )
We were very productive this weekend. Bagged up all their old Toys and clothes to give to Charity: 22 bags of Toys- 5 bags of kids clothes- 2 bags of adult clothes and 7 bags of baby clothes. It feels so good to be free of all of the stuff and that it went to a good cause as well. The toy room looks so good now and they can actually see what they have. Avery's first comment when we were done on Sunday. SO MOM, NOW THAT WE GAVE AWAY ALL THIS STUFF CAN WE GO TO TOYS-R-US AND BUY SOME MORE TOYS? LOL Yep That's my Boy.....

Birthday Girl.

Gracie is four years old!

We got back from Virginia around 2:30 in the afternoon. Grace and Daddy went to pick out her Ice cream cake ( her choice ) Avery, Abby and I decorated the house in lots of pink. we then took her for her choice for dinner and then opened gifts and had cake and Ice cream. At bedtime we watched a movie and ate popcorn in our bedroom. It was a Great day.

Gracie is our sunshine she always has a smile on her face and makes us all laugh everyday. I love just sitting back and watching her interact with people. Grace loved all of her gifts and at bedtime she kissed us all and said thank you for my special day. She has such a beautiful heart.

Happy Birthday My Big Girl!

Trip to Virginia.

All of the Family Planned a Wonderful Birthday Surprise for Grace. Lots of pink and Teddy bears. We are so Blessed to have them. This is the first time they have seen Gracie since the accident and they were so worried about her and prayed for her recovery. I know that it was the prayers from them, My aunt, uncle, cousins, sister, Brother in law and friends that got us through and I will be forever grateful for all of you that had Gracie and My family in your hearts.
We had such a great time in Virginia but we always do. They are really some of the most generous people you'll ever meet. Mom and Dad were with us on the trip and we enjoyed spending the weekend with them.
